I have been dating this guy for a year. The first 8 months were great. NO RED FLAGS. By the 9th month the relationship started getting weird. Without any arguments or fights, he would disappear and when I contacted him he would threaten to call the authorities on me. I never even knew what I did or why we fighting. Then a few weeks later he would come back saying, "I'm sorry, I had a lot of stress." 4 weeks ago, I was in the hospital for surgery and he was and actually had been very supportive of me for those weeks. As I got better I thought we were good again. A week after I got better he called me and said his father had a stoke and he would call me back after he went to see about him. He never called and now 3 weeks later I'm sending him emails saying "what is going on with you?" I got an text back today saying that if I contacted him again he would call the authorities for harrassment. I'm shock! I didn't even know we broke up? He last text to me was "I luv u". What happend?

He sounds like he's bipolar. If you want to put yourself in a relationship with a human yo-yo keep it up with him. If not, and if you respect yourself and your feelings you will break it off with him until he's over this or controlling this.

What happened is that you kept going out with this guy after all his odd disappearances and threats to call the authorities, when you should have forgotten about him in the first place. I have no idea what his deal is, or whether you're being totally honest here, but it doesn't matter because it's pretty clear this relationship should be cancelled.

To be honest with you girlfreind i understand tha tyou may love him from being with him so long it'll be hard to gt rid of him..but why put up with that stuff..if he keeps treating you like this tell him 1 chance thats it and tell him to hit the road if nothing changes..i would..to be honest by the sounds of it i think he is just playing you .......good luck

It's really hard to say why, he could be bipolar, paranoid, schizo, leading a double life, etc. What we know is that this situation is really bad for you.
I strongly recommend that you avoid any contact with him unless he agrees to see a Psychiatrist (go with him).

Girl...I wont say this right off the back if you have been only going out for 2 months.. but u've been dating him 4 yaear and this has been going on.. so...let him go.... don't let him do that to you

hes playing games and hes not going to stop so dont contact him. if he does tell him to leave you alone or YOU will contact the authorities, i know it will be very hard but hes playing games with you!!!!
