What is acceptable and what is not? I live in an apartment complex and there are no nudist clubs or resorts anywhere near here. I'm thinking unless I travel that I am stuck to home nudism. I could lay out on my porch or maybe go to the laundrymat but I'm thinking that would be pushing it. Has anyone ever dated a nudist on here? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Also, I didn't know where to post this so If I goofed i'm sorry.

Probably the best thing that you can do is to start up your own nudist group, or a lobby group to pressure the local politicians to change the laws regarding public nudity.

Unfortunately, attitudes towards it vary from state to state - there are some places where you can legally walk the streets nude or semi-nude and nobody gives a toss, whereas there are other states (especially in the so-called Bible Belt) whereby if you were to nude up or even promote it, you can face jail.

Dating nudists is also not as easy as it sounds. Most American nudists have the same amount of neuroses and hangups that non-nudists have got. If you were to date a nudist, you'd probably risk alienating a lot of your friends but you'd also gain new friends.

If you're not sure about the validity of the nudist lifestyle, try this site: http://www.naturistsociety.com and look for an article titled '205 Arguments For Naturism' - it is very informative and would no doubt help you in your quest.

What you propose is not nudism so much as thrill seeking ( not knocking that either).

If you lay out on your porch, you may end up with legal problems from do-gooder snoops.

Find a resort that is nudist or "clothing optional" and you'll enjoy a certain amount of anonymity .

Life is once. You have to make the best of it no matter what it is. I personally would not have the courage to be a nudist...but hey to each their own. I say go for it. I know in NY state it is legal for female to walk with shirts off now. I would definitely check into state laws before you go too far. Good luck to you. Live your dreams to the fullest. LL.

Be careful, you can be arrested for public indecency or some such.

Come to San Francisco. We have a nudist beach, and I've seen naked people walking around downtown before. And nobody really gawks, or calls the police, as long as you keep to yourself.
