I had a miscariage; I was only 3-4 weeks along. I am really upset about it; but what makes it worse is that my doctor wants me to wait a full cylce and then for us to start trying after that. I feel like I just want to keep trying now since it has already taking so long to get pregnant. I think I had an early miscariage before, so this would make it #2. I have heard that it is best to try right away b/c your body is so called primed for pregnancy. what do you think?

Wait. Give your body some time. You are more likely to keep the next child if you wait. Otherwise, your body could still be trying to recover and you could lose the next child. Besides, it isnt a rush. If you could get pregnant once, you can do it again. Let your body have the time it needs, and take some for yourself too.

I think you should just take it how it comes, trying or not trying, I had a miscarriage at 13 weeks gest, but I didn't find out till I had an ultrasound at 18 weeks. I had to have a D&C in April 2002 and in June 2002 I was pregnant again with my son who is nearly 4. I didn't try to fall pregnant but my body was ready to carry so I just think you should listen to yourself and your body. You know your body better then anybody. Please take it easy while preparing yourself and your body won't take on another baby untill its ready to carry. I hope everything runs smoothly and you have a healthy baby. I wish you all the best. take it easy .

I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks. If I was you I would listen to the doctors and wait at least one full cycle just so you can give you body a rest, don't over work your body.

I had 2 miscarriages,as you did, I was advised by doctors to wait but my husband and i did not...Our third was a success! I say dont wait, God will give you what he wants you to have, and in his time, not yours. So keep tryin, dont wait, don't get discouraged,i've had a total of 7 miscarriages and only 2 children so you hang in there and eventually you'll get what you are trying so hard for. I truely believe in that. Lori G.

Some doctors tell you to wait at least 2 months to try again, but then others say that they are more fertile in the first month and can get pregnant quicker. Just do it!!! Have fun trying!

Give your body a rest and for your emotions to recuperate, then try again. In the meantime get yourself in shape and start with a healthy diet so the new baby will have a good start with a good prenatal health program

Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry for your loss, my daughter has had 3 miscarriages and one stillbirth, the best advise I can offer is what I offered my daughter after her son died this July......give your mind AND body time to heal before trying again, but don't stop trying. God bless, you're in my prayers.
