I mean something like explicit pornography, torture, flagrantly racist images, etc...? I am NOT a racist, pornographer, sadist, etc., none of that, I'd just like to know if this would entice legal action of any sort against me, and if so, what punishment I'd be facing if I do choose to do so.
By projecting I mean thru the use of a projector, thus, not actually damaging any building, as would be spray painting it, etc. I wouldn't want to damage anything as beautiful as really old buildings, and I think the whole projection idea would circumvent anty vandalism to public buildings charges or whatever.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

would depend on the age if it is old ,it could be clasified as art
they found roam grafity on walls in pompey ,of erect male organs
but these are very ancient ,and it would be vandalism to destroy this archeological evidence
also what is offensive is in the eye of the beholder, what is pornographic to you may be artistic to others
what about satanic images or statues
the gargoyles on the Notre Dame are Satanic ,
so is the statue of liberty and the statue on top of the white house, because they are pesiphone (?) the queen of the underworld
and the city of london is full of satanic statues ,so is Paris
in france
this is a pandoras box
where do you draw the line .who will be the judge .and will they have the right to be the judge

so architecture is best left alone
besides it is only offensive if you allow it to be ,it is an attitude no more or no less
I have presonally done many pornographic scenes on walls ,out of cement in Africa, reasoning that if the art was not good at least the context would allow the work to exist for a long time as being weird or interesting or outright ofensive.this has worked part of the time
some people however tried to chisel the figures out ,so that they could steal them
I guess some of us can never win.

Possibly. But to get a decent image, you'd have to be pretty close, or have one heck of a projector.

It would probably not be considered free speech, because speech depends on both the speaker, and the consent of the medium that the speech is broadcast on. If you place speech on a building, then people may assume that the owner of that building agrees with that speech.

You could probably be sued, and succesfully, by whoever owns whatever buildings you're projecting the image on.

Oh yes, they'd get you on many charges. Use of government property to display Blah, Blah, Blah. Operating an adult theater on government property without permission, permit or license. Trespassing and anything else they can think of. Your description of the things you would display indicate a troubled soul in need of some help. Don't ruin the rest of your life by doing something stupid. It's not worth it.

Yes it would be illegal. It's vandalism and depending upon your motives, it could even be a hate crime. Are you high?
