I recently got a speeding ticket in Ontario while I was driving my BC-licenced car. Does Ontario report this sort of thing to ICBC? Also, does Ontario issue warrants for late payment?

Thanks.

Every province checks interprovincial ticket records. ICBC will indeed find out about the ticket upon conviction. If you don't pay, there will be a default conviction entered. They won't go out to BC to arrest you, but youwill be subject to arrest upon return to Ontario, and an unpaid ticket will not disappear from your record after a certain period of time, either. You may end up being unable to renew your licence if you don't pay it.

yeah they're all plugged into each other. not only will you get hit with all the late fees, but the BC people will also want a cut for holding your next set of license plates ransom. trust me unless you're gonna fight the ticket and win, pay them and make that go away.
