A better question would be, Why do Cardinal fans think they're so great ? I've seen them in action at Wrigley field, they're loud and obnoxious until some Cub fan puts a major league a** kicking on them.

I have always noticed that for some reason, I think it's great for the Cardinal's to have such a great fan base supporting them all the time.

How are they any different than most fans in baseball? I mean I will say this that I dont see alot of Cardinals fans giving up on their team even when they arent very good (past years) and they werent jumping on every bandwagon they could but I mean I dont see them being a much better fan base than alot of other teams...from around my area though there is alot of bandwagon Cardinal fans (KY/IN), ALOT of them and its pretty annoying. But the true fans are usually true through the bad and good...

LOL!! I don't know. I think that the Cardinals have good support for a city that size, that's why they say that. over 3 million attendance when the city is only like 2.5 million people. That's what I think, anyway.

Are they? Is this a question or a comment?

FYI, I went to some Cubs v. Cardinals games in Chicago and St. Louis fans were bastards.

Because they are really loyal to their team and don't give up on them when they go through the tough times. Even though I don't like the Tigers, I have to admire the Tiger fans who have stuck with them even through all those losing seasons.

Because they are REAL baseball fans.
They have a rich history and deep tradition,
and thier fans know and respect that.

They aren't great, they are just a bunch of idiots drinking Bud & watching their team lose one, win one.... Big deal. Tigers will trample either the Mets or the Cards.
