I accidently had an AIM program run since a window popped up saying this program cannot be found what would you like to run? So I clicked AIM without realizing it the window keeps popping up no matter how many times i exit it. I restarted computer and still kept running and wouldn't let me go to wonder icons or to start button for programs. Then I reinstall AIM and still no work. Any suggestions on how to stop this problem or make it stop running continuously?

Try what mAx said. If you still have a problem... Ctrl + Alt + Delete and select Task Manager. A list of all programs running on your comp will show. Find it and select End Program. Then I'd completely un-install AIM, and re-install it again, but I'd wait to see if you still have the problem whenever you restart the comp.

click start in the task bar then run and type in msconfig and hit enter when the window pops up click on start up and a list will come up and show you all the programs that are running in the background of the computer. Uncheck aim and whatever else you don't want running all you really need running is your anti virus.

you will have to change the access of that file to AIM.
right click on that file and click on 'open with'
in the list click on 'choose program' and then choose some other program with with it will open.
