I am usually really good at interpreting eyes and have done it with the guy I like before, talked to him for an hour about our pasts and stuff, and found out that behind his hilarious, flirtacious mask he too often wears he is hurting and now he considers me a real friend and he doesn't have many people he considers real friends.
I have noticed that a lot of times when he looks at me his eyes are questioning, wondering...trying to figure something out. And he is a huge flirt, but if I'm there when he is hugging another girl a lot of the time he is looking at me.
Today we were both in the hall during studyhall that we have together and I was on my way back up and he was at a friend's locker. He stood a few feet away from his friends. As I passed we locked eyes and I slowed down/stopped (not sure which) but for about 3 seconds we held that and he gave me this INTENSE look and looked like he was figuring something out. What does this look mean? He only looks @ me like this

I'm not in love with him, but I love him in the way that I would die for him because he is such an awesome person. And yes, I also like him A LOT as more than a friend, too.

well holding gazes is a BIG sign of flirting/love/major like. i think he was trying to read your heart/soul of your inner most desires and see if you had any for him... its all in the eyes
