No, I'm quite certain he doesn't have our best interests at heart. Bush is the salesman for Cheney's tactics and for the supporters who bought him the Presidency.
Bush is the salesman, the front man.
And a salesman cannot care about the prospect while selling the goods. So that answers your question, his job is to sell effectively, and that means having no feeling toward those he persuades to go along with him.

well...according to CuriousGeorge,
-we are not always going to get along with ourselves-
"I've reminded the prime minister—the American people, Mr. Prime Minister, over the past months that it was not always a given that the United States and America would have a close relationship."—Washington, D.C., June 29, 2006
-he is setting up a smokescreen to fool our enemies by focusing attention elsewhere-
"The point now is how do we work together to achieve important goals. And one such goal is a democracy in Germany."—Washington, D.C., May 5, 2006
- But when you are the King of America, you are busy deciding stuff and don"t have time for matters of the heart!-
"I'm the decider, and I decide what is best. And what's best is for Don Rumsfeld to remain as the secretary of defense."—Washington, D.C., April 18, 2006
-Since we are so busy trying to harm ourselves, impending doom seems inevitable-
"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."—Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004
-But fear not, Travis will save us-
"But the true strength of America is found in the hearts and souls of people like Travis, people who are willing to love their neighbor, just like they would like to love themselves."—Springfield, Mo., Feb. 9, 2004
- this way CuriousGeorge will have more free time to explore his feminine side-
"I'm going to spend a lot of time on Social Security. I enjoy it. I enjoy taking on the issue. I guess, it's the Mother in me." —Washington D.C., April 14, 2005
-and don't worry , our back is covered!-
"After all, Europe is America's closest ally."—Mainz, Germany, Feb. 23, 2005
lmao! this is fun!

In a word NO. Our current president works first and foremost for corporate America. The facts don't lie:
*Personal savings rates are at -.5%
*real income for the average American has dropped every year for the past 5 years.
*More Americans are at or below the poverty level than ever before
*Poverty among children is 17% higher than in 2000.
*Healthe care premiums are 70% higher than in 2000.
*College tuition is 60% higher than in 2000.
*Unemployment is 10 - 12% higher than in 2000.
*The federal debt has increased 54% since 2000.
The corporage economy is flourishing while the gap between rich and poor gets bigger and bigger. There will be no middle class the way things are going.
Again, the answer is NO.

absolutely not,it is very obvious at this point that his main objective is to get him and his buddies a fat check and get the hell out leaving our country in political dissarray,so that some poor democrat has to come along and fix it again,as always, its really fairly cyclical.i cant believe someone would bring up the lewinsky thing as though thats even and issue as though extra marital affairs stop people from doing there jobs,if that was the case nothing would get done in this country, how many republicans have affairs...apparently none

Yes. Not only that, he is realistic about what is going on right now in the world, not like many people on the far left who are in a trench of denial. I do think though that he is a bit misguided or naive about his trust in our relationships with other countries like China and Pakistan. Either that or he is just publicly supportive for political reasons.

Well of course .. why would you even ask that.
It amazes me that this type of questions didn't come up when Clinton was in office - sitting around the Oval Office with an Intern under his desk while our Country got attacked 4 times and he did NOTHING.

THEY are the terrorists! read, not mainstream news, read real work annd learn the history, learn they are not christians that they are luciferians, worshipping pagan gods and wanting a New World Order. Seriously im not even playing, wish i was..peace.
