Tinker Thinker is wrong. There is plenty information to prove that Americans were lied to by this administration. Unfortunately, those people that get there news from Fox don't get the whole story. Many of them actually believe that Saddam had something to do with 911. They were told Iraq posed an imminent threat to the U.S. And how is that? They had little left of their army, no navy , and very little air force. How were they an imminent threat? They need to ask themselves one question: "if Osama Bin Ladin was responsible for the attacks on 911, why was he never captured and why did we attack Iraq in response". Any answer but the truth is unacceptable. We have not yet heard the truth. If we haven't heard the truth then we have only heard lies.

What is different today than in the past is that all the discontent is percolating up from the general pubic and not the opposing political party. This indicates a major change is about to occur in the American political landscape. The exact words of Lincoln escape me, but it was something about you can't fool all of the people all of the time.
The future of America is shaped by the people, not the elected few. As long as we can vote, tomorrow will always be promising.

9/11 sad. Afghanistan I thought was the right thing to do as we were going after the alleged perpetrator. Most Americans felt that way, 80% if my memory is correct. Iraq has sucked from the beginning. Most are against being there now. Which brings me to Bush's lies. It makes me angry that he cares so little about human life that he will send our young off to war for no other reason then to enrich himself and his rich buddy's. 655,000 Iraqi, 2800 Americans have lost their lives. Many, many more have been wounded. Disfigured for the rest of their lives all because our evil president lied to the American people. Angry, yes real Angry and frustrated. I do plan to vote to try to get a democratic majority in one of the houses, so as to restore checks and balance to the government, to stop this evil man from doing any more damage to the country I love.

Well on September 11th 2001 we where attacked. And it was the worst attack sense Pearl Harbor. I personally think that we had to respond! I mean you can't let these nut cases get away with such a ruthless cowardly act! You may question the strategy behind the war and find some mistakes in that. But as far as the war in general, we had to respond! As far as the future of America is concerned, Its not Good! But, who is to blame? Clinton? NO! Bush? NO! Its these crazy people who want to kill us! They are the ones to blame!

I think leaving our soldiers in both Iraq and Afghanistan is a huge mistake, first and foremost and I applaude the dedication of the men and women who serve our country. My actions would not be suitable in a democratic country as I would have slammed Saudi Arabia HARD for the actions of their citizens, no matter what the consequences on oil supply. Secondly, I would have dealt as harshly with Pakistan for allowing Bin Laden to hide in their country. As to Saddam, he has done nothing but manipulate the court that supposed to be trying him..better to have killed him on site and paraded his dead body on the news like those of his sons than to try him, then pull completely out of the country and let its own citizens murder each other. I am not partial to party politics, which often depend on the ignorance of their voters, rely heavily on one-issue voters, and use voters to further their own agendas rather than those of their constituents. Bush is a product of our country's political system. It is that system which needs changing the most.
