Many soldiers think the Libs. embolden their enemy w/ loud negative protests and it causes, the death of their friends and endangers their own life.
I am a vet and I remember that we feared the enemy behind us almost as much as the one in front.

If you say something that causes a soldier to have doubts about why he's fighting ,you may have his death or dissmemberment on your conscience. He can not go into a battle w/ a vicious and determined enemy half-heartedly.

I don't claim that all soldiers feel that way, but many do, and for a damn serious reason.
You can't just listen to a few who are tired and frusterated w/ the war.

Foreget about what you heard here or there.
Doesn' t your common sence tell you that anything you might say that depletes the morale of our troops may have serious consequences for them?
Tere are other venues for voicing your concerns than very public, loud-mouthed protests.

Well, I am a liberal and my husband is a soldier--I would say he only fears that I will turn him down, if you know what I mean.
But, on a more serious note, most liberals (I speak for the majority --we all know there are nut-jobs on both sides of the spectrum) don't protest in any way that can be construed as emboldeing the enemy. I won't picket a soldier's return home, such as was done during the Vietnam (war) conflict, however I will vote for change, speak my mind concerning the wrong perpetuated by our ever increasingly dictatorial government, and try to inform the uniformed (if I know the answer). I LOVE the principles America was founded upon, I want to see them perpetuated.
P.S.
My husband is soon to deploy, and I have to say--I fear for him.

Sir, I'm a veteran also, the issue is that if America has a threat, then take out the threat! Too, America can take out the threat while you watch TV, I play my drums and the young folk go to the DISCO.
All we have to do is push the button/s. Or, we can drop back from that and drop stuff that takes out all the air. We do not have to send troops in.
We can line up two rows of howitzers, 20 per row, and walk em in. One row start from the back of the town the other from the front. Turn a click, load and fire. We really do not have to go into fire fights.
If the world don't like it. tell em to make their move.
America needs to put up or shut up! TAKE EM OUT!
This isn't about troop support, it is about troop abuse!
Then, after all the wounds and extremity loses, they get a letter from VA that say the don't qualify, like in my case, after 24 years.

Maybe you should broaden your horizon. My Daughters a Vet and my son-in-law will be going to Iraq this Friday, and according to them and there Friends its bush that is hated far more then liberals. And don't judge all liberal by the few idiots that get the press. I think people that protest funerals are appalling. But I do support the troupes they are over there because they are in the military so they go, they know that when they go in. but that doesn't make the situation right. the reasons we to Iraq were BS. In the first place, and we all know it. It wasn't our(liberal) policies and corruption and lies that sent them there in the first place. and anytime you are going to risk the live of Americans it better be for a DAMN good reason in my opinion. and the reasons for Iraq WERE NOT a damn good reason.

Many soldiers want Liberals to help to get them out of a quagmire invasion that they know started out as a lie. Thousands are writing that they want to go home. Others are deserting You are a noble veteran and should realize that this so called war is a useless waste of lives.

soldiers need to be a little tougher than fearing people who are not willing to back an illegal and unmoral war!!!!!!
by the way...what has embolden our enemy as you say is invading an Arab country that had nothing to do w/ 9-11!!!!!!!! we have just created exactly what our enemies wanted most.... an unlimited amount of anti-Americans who want to join the jihad against America!!!!!!!!

Why would soldiers fear the people who want them to come back from combat alive? Why would they trust the people who send them into combat with defective equipment? (Rifles that wouldn't fire in Viet Nam - remember? and inadequate armor and helmets in Iraq)
Do they also fear the many veterans who protest the wars?

They just like the way that phrase sounds. They NEVER have been a soldier's friend.....
Liberals don't really believe in anything.....They have no real moral character.....The proof is that they are not willing to die for anything.
Tell me when and what have liberals really ever put their lives on the line for!?
