You can get a work permit from your school. You only have to be 14 years old to work. All the rules are on this permit. You may even work younger..If you are in Farm Area's. That is very rare these days. You cannot work more then limited hours combined with school and work. But weekends do not count. However you "Cannot work past 7:30 P.M. now this is in the state of Michigan.. That makes it hard for after school hours. But weekends are workable. She can get a job as a bagger at a grocery store, meijer may hire her..and many restaurants will also. Mainly mom and pop operations. But she cannot work with a grill or fryer. Mall's only hire today 18 and over, not like it use to be. Unless it is a kiosk, for food. She alway's will have to be under supervision of an adult for workman's compensation reason's. This is why not too many people hire that young..but it is allowed...I have had many 14 year old, 15 and 16 year olds that have worked for me..harder then some adults. They even stayed untill they graduated high school and went off to college. Tell her to let them know that she is dependable, and willing to work hard . It sound's like she is beginning to have a very good work ethic already!!! Congratulations..you should be proud.

Some of the fast food places like McDonald's or Pizza Hut will hire @ 15 and a half. Try the local city spots at city hall sometimes business's go through them or the recreation departments. Good luck and be proud of her for wanting to work

Have her make up her own flyer for babysitting. If she is responsible enough. My babysitters es like 60 bucks a night from me and a couple of my friends. Thats alot of cash for one nights work. Maybe she can find someone right there close that needs someone every weekend. I know my sitters..(i have 7 of them...lol) don't like to do it every weekend that is why i alternate between them. I think its a great idea for her. But always make sure you either know or get to know the kids parents first. Maybe the first couple of times she can watch the kids at your house. Just till you get to know the people better. Hope this helps.

She is still young. So anyplace where there is no equipment or hot things around her. A lot of business don't like to hire 15 year old insurance reasons. Sorry to be truth-full

I would say McDonald's is the right job while she finishes her college on the side.
