i can do whatever the hell i want. swim, dance, hike, sex... (if you use an "instead" cup rather than a tampon or pad, ew.)

You can swim if you wear a tampon. Other than that you can do anything...it's not like you're temporarily paralyzed or something. One thing you shouldn't do are yoga poses that involve inversing the uterus so that your belly button points down (toward your face). My yoga instructer always stressed that it isn't good to have your flow go back up inside you. :)

You can do just about anything except having sex.... only because it's gross. Tampons are a wonderful invention- you can go swimming, wear what you want, etc. So don't let your menses ruin your week! Do what you want to do when you want to do it.
