Does The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle have a pleasing ending or does it leave you depressed/in suspense

I loved that book. I should re-read it. The ending isn't quite happily ever after, and there is a bit of drama, but I don't think it's depressing.

I need to read that book again, too. I loved it! I thought the ending was very good.

I liked it, actually. It made me happy that she was getting to go back to the place she'd rightfully earned.
