Vegans do not smell better than Non-vegans. Vegans tend to smell like other Vegans, especially those from the same locality who eat the same things.

There have been numerous studies showing the effect of foods and drinks on the chemical composition of human body sweat. Eating the correct amount of each type of food required by the body tends to have no adverse effect on the perception of the smell of the perspiration.

Over indulging in some foods, especially protein rich foods, seems to have a great effect. This is true for meat, fish, poultry and legumes. Vegans seldom overindulge in protein.

For similar reasons, holy days in many religions are often accompanied by fasting.

I don't know about vegan's but I am a vegetarian and I sweat alot in the warm weather.. Many meat eaters say I stink. But in the cool weather or winter time the stink is mostly gone. Being a Vegetarian I breathe easier than when I was a meat eater!

In general, vegans dont have an offensive body odor like carnivores since their body is not digesting flesh which tends to rot inside the body and whose smell is carried out through the sweat glands. This is more pronounced in meat eaters who eat fewer vegetables and have a resulting buildup of rotted meat inside the intestinal tract and colon (a primary cause of colon cancer.) This is a known fact.

Why would they smell better...? It's unhealthy in the long run to be vegan, you need the protein and whatnot from the meat.

No I would not go vegan, I don't smell bad to begin with as I have good hygiene.

I really like the smell of beef. I think cows are vegans, so yes, in fact, vegans smell better.

I've heard it's true. I think it is, but no I wouldn't go vegan. I have a hard enough time trying to not eat meat. Not eating any animal products becomes near impossible.

It depends on what you like in smells. I have heard that in Vietnam, that the V. C. could tell when our troops were around because they put off a different odor. Because we ate different foods than the V. C.
