I watch the news, I read the magazines and I follow the political waves. I'm a graduate student in Saint Louis, who frankly, wants to start taking matters into his own hands. I know I can't do anything big (Like become president), but I want to know about how to get started in politics. Where do you begin? How do you know if you're any good or not? I want to make a difference, and I don't mind working hard. I'm just tired of the lies and hypocrites in politics now. Any suggestions on how to get things done?

Get involved in grassroots efforts elections and volunteer or apply for a job at your state levels. You can apply in your state elections office or at your state party's office.

You can't unless you have money. Only big money will get you elected in either party. I am glad you want to help the nation. Join the military and thru that you can work up to being an advisor to the president or a politacal career after words is a little easier.

All politics say that in the begining...but once they're voted for...they seem to turn into lying cheats...it's like a disease!
