I said it before, I'll say it again...
Am I the only one that saw it on the news? It was national news!!! The Jewish powers that be were in an uproar over his film. As if this was some sort of new story being told!
Mel was being persecuted. YES. For real! I'm not making this up for some secret agenda against Jews!! He was being persecuted behind the scenes and it spilled out everywhere...if you cared to do a little research.
My point is, he was being denied his rights as an American, as an artist and as a Christian. Don't you think this man had the right to hold resentment toward them? Therefore, I take the whole thing lightly. If he insulted Jews, it was Jews that caused this from the get-go.
NOT MEL'S DOING PEOPLE...GET THE FACTS. The man was drunk and resentment from the persecution spilled out. Truth is, Mel's the good guy!!

Maybe not the burning thing. I think he should be forced to go through some sort of program to make him more sensitive to Jewish people. That is sick though. He's not the first, but it disturbs me that he's an icon. I hope his career goes to hell.
