We just read an article about him. He's in our age demographic, but we're just stunned we've never heard of him! We're not that sheltered! We love stand-up, but what kind of comedy does he do?
And please, no copy and pastes or websites.

He does mainly observational humor. A lot of people don't like him, but I think he's a freakin riot. He has bits about working at the BK Lounge (burger king). He has a fascination with car accidents. He has bits about his dream house being a mystery house with labs and secret hallways and pictures eyes that he can look through...
He does a little bit of everything, except political humor. He tends to stay away from things like that. I highly recommend you check out his cds "Harmful if Swallowed" and "Retaliation." He just finished an HBO special called "Vicious Circle" which is great. If you see that it's going to be on, you should check it out. He has a certain "physical comedy" quality to his humor, so he is great to see live (or in video form.) He is really funny to listen to, but some of the jokes lose a little something if you can't see what he's doing with his face, hands or body.

He's been on Saturday Night Live a couple times. First in December 2005 and then the season opener in September 2006. Personally I think he's kind of boring.

Dane does observational humor, that is hes funny because of his stories but also because of the faces/expressions he makes. He tells stories about "regular life stuff" like car accidents, church, first job, etc etc. Hes cute too =)

Well he deffo has a lot of haters because he relies on being hyper and visual aides for a large part of his comedy but at the end of the day he could make me laugh. He''s not my favorite comedian but I don't hate him.

OMG!!!! he is Sooooo Funny!!! He kinda talks about life situations makes them funny and then turns them into outragous situations!!! He is starring in the that new movie with Jessica simpson, Employee of the Month.
