When my little granddaughters put on a little Christmas play, and their cousins were here too. The were all very small, but they were sure to include everyone as a part. They danced around the Christmas tree, and we all sat down to watch the Christmas play. The girls are older now, and every now and then we remember about the time they put on the play, and how the oldest one was the director, and made the little one operate the lights. They have a good laugh and look up to the top of the stairs where the little one had to sit and operate the lights. She always had to do the "grunt" work, and not the star. Now it is different, they are best friends, the same height and both beautiful. One is 16 and the other 19, that was the favorite. My mother was alive then, and we all lived in the same town. They have all moved away, and my Mother is dead now.

Christmas holidays 1954 - 1958. Our family rented a holiday beach house at Austinmere just south of Sydney. Other friends did likewise and we had lots of fun together. That's where I learned to swim - in the ocean baths. Mr Luck was my teacher. Great memories.

this is horrible but true. My favorite memory is when my Uncle Jeff beat the crap out of my Uncle Tony! It was hilarious! I was only 11, but it was the funniest thing I ever saw! He threw him up into the Christmas tree and it shorted out! We lost power for about an hour and then they went at it again! My aunt Linda came in and got in the middle of it and she ended up in the hospital! OMG! I have a messed up family!

I had a freekin awesome Halloween party and all my friends were there and some people I didn't even invite but that was cool, anyway, Everyone was dressed in costume, dunkin for apples, drinkin "bloody brains", rockin out, THEN there was a BIG noise ant the sliding glass door! There were 2 men standing outside with CHAIN SAWS and sheets over their heads tied with rope around the neck just starring in!!! Every one looked at me like WHO IS THAT? I said WHO ARE YOU? I was scared because I had no idea who it was! Then they started the chain saws and held them up!! People scattered!!!???!!!
It was my stupid older Brother and his friend !!!
I'll never forget that! It was cool!

Every year on Christmas morning my Dad (RIP) would wake us up by singing
"White Christmas"..Bing Crosby style..& he did a great job of it too..Plus my Grandfather would always wait for everyone to open their presents & pile his up until we all did..later he'd open them quietly then thank us all..always thought that was quirky but cool..
