depends on what you mean by reliable, if you are talking about service go with samsung. try the c417 its similar to the razor with all of the same features except for video, its also just as slim as the razr but smaller as well and right now it is free at radioshack, or the d807 is a very good phone too, 1.3 megapixel camera, video, speaker, bluetooth, memory card slot, mp3 player and is $49.99 its a slider though so be careful of the screen. stay away from motorola though. motorola phones are usually glitcy and the razor is overpriced at even $49.99. also the lg cu500 that just came out for cingular is a good phone as well, camparable to sprints a900 its around $149.99. Samsung and Sanyo always make the best phones as far as reception and performace go.

All the phones I have had with cingular have been great - first nokia, then lg, now I have a razr and I love it. All have gotten great signal where others didn't and they have lived through many a drop. I did have to get a battery replaced, but it was under warranty, so FREE.
