I cut one open, tasted it and found it to be as sweet as a store bought grapefruit. Are they good to eat or squeeze into grapefruit juice?

Sorry for the typo. I'm replacing "ones" with the "once". This grapefruit tree was planted with seeds from a grapefruit. This tree is 15 years old and just started to bare this year. The tree is loaded with grapefruits the size of oranges. As I said earlier, they are turning grapefruit yellow. Are they good to eat or what? I cut one open, tasted it and it taste like one you would buy in the store.

Yes, they are good and better than store bought. Most citrus is sprayed to make it the color it is because we the people prefer our oranges orange when we eat them.

I'd enjoy them both ways. Also try one broiled. Just cut in half, set cut side up on a broiler pan, sprinkle with a little brown sugar and pop under broiler just until sugar melts. YUMMY.

Please rephrase that into a proper question because it really doesn't make any sense.

Thanks
