37 weeks is your third trimester and yes it's the nineth month (Doctors and midwives do not count in terms of months but weeks since counting begins from the first day of your last period-and ovulation and conception don't take place until two weeks after that (if your periods are regular) -- you actually become pregnant in week 3 of your pregnancy)... A pregnancy is an average of 40 weeks but anytime after the 36th week is considered full term and can be born anytime after that. Basically all that is needed to develolp has been developed. A good book to read is "What To Expect When Your Expecting" if that's the case with you. (Which I sincerely hope not since you're asking that question and have not have a clue about how pregnancy is broken down.) But hey that's what yahoo answers is all about..

In response to this:
For all you pregnant women WHO SHOULD KNOW SIMPLE MATH - there are four weeks in each month - we use that as an average. Take your total weeks and divide by four. That is how many months you are. AARRRGGGHHH! (How will y'all teach your kids???)
Some months have 5 weeks in them. You should take a look at a calendar before you start running at the mouth about simple math and how they will teach their children. AAAAARRRRGGGHHHH (HOW ARE YOU GOING TO TEACH YOUR CHILDREN?)

At least divide 37 by 4...that's your months. Congrats....remember some months are a day or two shorter than others.
