The International Lawn Tennis Challenge Trophy is officially known as the Davis Cup.The tournament was conceived in 1899 by four members of the Harvard University tennis team who came up with the idea of challenging the British to a tennis showdown. Dwight F. Davis, was one of the players who designed a tournament format and spent the money from his own pocket to purchase an appropriate sterling silver trophy. It was renamed the Davis Cup following his death in 1945.

They banned him for a year before then lift the ban. I think ICC needs to step in specially in Asif case before WADA takes any action against Pakistan Board and ICC
