The question shouldn't be will we.. it should be WHEN will we have a female president? It's about time... Dont you think?

Yes, of course. Any barriers made will eventually be broken. People never thought we would have a single president, divorced, or even a Roman Catholic president, but we have had them. I wrote a report on this back in college, the most likely person to become the first female president will probably be a moderate Republican. She will garner the moderate support, the feminists and "barrier-breakers" on the liberal side, and some moderate Republican support. I can go find the source if you would like.

Yes, we are ready, but...ANYBODY but Hillary!

I would vote for Condoleezza Rice, I respect her!

My GOD, Indira Gandi, Margaret Thatcher, Golda Meir, Corazon Aquino, all held high, influential titles, like Prime Minister and President, of their respective countries. We can hold the title to the most powerful country in the world!

Of course we will. A more appropriate question for me is: will we go a day without someone asking if we will ever have a female president?

Yes--very possibly in 2008. I would like to see a woman president--but I don't like this result for 2008--but this is my prediction: If the Democrats are smart enough to nominate Hillary (which is a big "if" since they are prone to self-destruction) the only Republican who can beat her is Condi Rice.

Yes I think maybe within the next 10 - 15 years. I would vote for Condoleezza Rice but she won't run. Heaven help us if Hilary gets elected. She is the chameleon of all chameleons, and is the most power-hungry opportunistic woman I've ever heard of.

Frankly, you've heard the saying "men have messed things up badly enough for the first 200 years, give the women a chance too". I tend to agree.

Yes. Hilliary Clinton is headed to be the first. With all the crazy men who have been in office and have screwed up so badly, why not?
