My fear about the government is us as a people. We stick our noses into too much of what the government is trying to do. I think they are doing the best they can with what they've got and we need to trust that they know things that we don't need to know. If we knew all the secrets they had then this world would be in a lot of trouble!!!
I think for the most part we have a pretty good government. It definitely could be much worse. They are all still human and they do make mistakes. We all do. People are way too judgemental towards the government. They can't please everyone. They have their rights to opinions just as the rest of us do. We need to be more supportive of them and accept what they are doing for us regardless of political party. Even if we don't always like who is in office at the time. We can't change that as long as what they are doing is legal. We just have to accept it and trust that they know what they are doing.
I definitely do not support the corrupt and those that break the law. Those are the people we need to keep out of office. But we can't do that individually. We need to work together as one to ensure that those being put into office are the right person for the position.
We are one nation under God and we need to stick together!!!! Like it or not!!!

The fact that they have grown far past the control of the people. The right to bear arms was created in as a way for the people to defend themselves against a tyrannical government, but with the technology they have the government can do anything it wants... and they can hide it anyway. I'm not saying the government is doing all kind of horrible things that they aren't telling us about, I'm just saying they have the ability to do them without us ever knowing.

I don't fear the Government of today. I feel quite comfortable under the current Administration. I however did not enjoy this same feeling under Clinton.

Our government spends too much time campaining then doing their actual job. I don't want Bush campaining for the republicans in the Nov. elections. It has been like this for a long time now.

I fear these wire taps, interrogations without oversight and too much religion getting into government.
I'm a religious person, but I don't want to see it on our money or in our National pledge.
I also don't want to see back room beatings, offshore holding areas and American's getting their communications looked at indsicriminately.
