Im 28 weeks pregnant and still taking prenatal vitamins. Has anyone had taking prenatal vitamins the whole 9 months. Is it ok to take it for a long period of time??? Will it effect the baby in some way??? I havent went to the doctor in a month, because of my medical insurance, but just got it back and already did a appoinment with my doctor for thursday.

I took prenatal vitamins throughout my whole nine months with my son. The only time I have heard of a doctor not wanting someone to take them was with a friend of mine and it was because they were making her sick. So he told her to take the Flintstones vitamins for kids.

the vitamins are good for the baby, they wont hurt him at all. most women take their prenatals their entire 9 months, yes.

prenatal vitamins cant hurt the baby in any way, they actually help it. many doctors instruct their patients to take vitamins the entire pregnancy

Yes, the vitamins are great for you and the baby! Most doctors reccomend taking them before you get pregnant. Don't stop taking them!!

I took prenatals even after I had my babies because I breastfed. You are fine! Good luck & Congrats!

prenatal viatimins are for the baby mostly...so it is good to take them for as long as your doctor prescribes

PERFECTLY NORMAL IT WILL NOT HURT THE BABY TO TAKE THEM 9 MONTHS STRAIGHT I HOWEVER CANT TAKE THEM THEY MAKE ME THROW UP SO THE DOCTOR TOLD ME TO TAKE IRON AND B COMPLEX CONGRATS BY THE WAY!
