I know he's tall, but how exactly is it that he 'pitches like a machine?' Does he have stiff movements, or is he extremely consistent, or what?

He is tall and pitches like a machine as in consistent. He is in the top 10 pitchers of all time and trails only Nolan Ryan in all time strikeouts.

do not drop Kazmir!! he's a super pitcher that gets you ok's besides as wins ( he's the only devil Ray that gets you wins). i could drop Contreras out of the roster which you provided because of the fact he's inconsistant. in case you opt to maintain him, i could then drop Glavine because of the fact he's becoming older and in basic terms provides you the wins with worry-unfastened numbers in the different categories (era, WHIP, ok). basic, attempt to maintain Kazmir and the huge Unit.

WDWF's answer sounds a little wierd to me, but I'd say it's because he's 6'10" and he was very consistant and he has a lot of power(like a machine)

Like WDWF said, Tim Raines gave him the name when they both were with the Expos. I hadn't heard the anecdote about them colliding, though, but it could be true.
