You will go to court cop will not be there because you are just doing a guilty or not plea, which take the not guilty .
Because if you plead guilty you will get charged heavier than if you get a court appointed attorney which he will plea bargain to a lesser offense and you'll get a lighter fine, a suspended lisc, (weather you have a current one or not) it will still be suspended for a period of 90 days.
All said and done you will pay about $247.00

The cop will be in court on the prosecution side though. You'll probably just get a fine. I wouldn't stess too much.

If you request a trial, he will be there. If you plead guilty, with or without explanation, he does not have to be there. You will only have to pay fines and then be barred from getting a driver's license for a further extended period. Don't worry, you'll be fine. It's just expensive.
