For me it was "2001: A Space Odyssey," but that movie polarized audiences--some love it, some HATE it! LOL I happened to love it, and still find the part of the movie after the opening ape sequence (which has paled a bit over the years), after the ape throws the bone into the air, to still be mesmerizing cinema.

The best movie is The green mile. It took my heart away and Tom Hanks did a great job.
