1) A doorbell is often activated by a solenoid, which is an electromagnet. When the door bell button is pushed, current flows through a coiled wire, setting up a magnetic field that attracts a lever that strikes a bell.
2)There are magnets in speakers. They cause the current from the audio amplifier to vibrate the speaker cone, the movement of which produces sound.
3)The VCR.
4)Camcorder, and cassette players use magnetic tapes.
These tapes contain magnetic particles that, during recording, align themselves with the magnetic fields produced as a result of current flow through the record heads.
