Pros for gays in the miltary: the military needs every able bodied person who wants to serve, and in particular there are some fields where any qualified person is desparately needed (e.g., Arabic, Farsi or Iraqi translator) and barring gays in the military harms the country's military readiness. Also: gays are people, and it is against the principles of this country not to treat people equally.

Cons for gays in the military: many people are prejudiced against gays, and feel uncomfortable working and serving next to them, and this could lead some not to enlist, and perhaps lead to a lack of cohesion in the unit.

Pros for pornography: in general we believe in free speeech and free expression, and the right of people to read what they want. If it is consensual porn, and no one is forced to participate in making it, and no minors are involved, anyone who is offended can simply choose not to look at it. Sex is natural, and the sexual gratification people get from looking at porn makes them happier and more relaxed.

Cons for pornography: it violates many peoples moral and religious beliefs, and may contribute to a less polite and even more violent society. It may contribute to creating false images about the opposite sex, esp. about women, and may degrade the people who use it and lead them to degrade other people as well.

I suppose an argument can be made that pornography is a safe sexual outlet. The other side of that same coin is that it can stir up strong sexual feelings that need other outlets.

The pros of gays in the military is that they're just people and are as productive as any other member. The only con of gays in the military that I can think of is the prejudices of the others, which causes strife where they should be banding together.

OMG this question is so wrong. Why should there even be gays in the military? Either they will get beaten up or they will influence other men to become gays as well. There are no pros to this happening.

It's mainly good for the actors and actresses because they need a place to release their issues. It's good for people who need 'self-love'. It's good for people learning about sex. There are no cons to this!
