my mom went to the emergancy room because she is sick and i have to take the SATS tommorrow

JUST STOP (Please try this before you dismiss it)! Stop yourself before it gets to deep. Use reasoning for a moment in your head say these statements to yourself, "ok keep it together". " there have been worse things happen", "Don't panic", "I can do this" " the world isn't going to stop because of this", then take a deep I mean really deep breath in through your nose (the nose very important) hold it 5 seconds then slowly let it out through pursed lips (also very important pursed lips) do that about 5 times. It will help you tremendously!!!! I learned it the Detention Officers training class. I have been diagnosed with anxiety attacks anyway, so this is something I do daily when I start to get that feeling. It is something you can do right in front of people and they won't even notice!!! It gets more oxygen to the brain if you follow my instructions. Please try it I know it sounds corny but it will make such a difference!!!!!!!

First of all, the SATs are nothing that you should worry about. It's not like you can study for them, right? There is no way you can do better by worrying. Just show up, clear your mind, and let if flow.

Even if you blow it, you simply scrape together the cash and do it again. At that point, it will be practice for the next time.

There is nothing more stressful that sitting in an ER waiting room.

Try doing some exercise for an hour... walking, running, swimming, biking... exercise burns off the stress, will burn off the calories you're eating, and will enable you to sleep at nite.

this may sound yucky especially if ur not a fan of vegetables..but eating celery is a stress reliever.it really helps.also anytime u feel tense take deep breaths or if possible go and take a walk. and u kno they always say laughter is the best medicine so u and ur girls have a nite out and u shud be ok

DONT eat when your upset. I've never really had that problem, but when im stressed out i work out. Maybe run a little bit, or I write poetry, sing or listen to music.

Instead of counting sheep, count your blessings and you'll fall asleep counting your blessings... Come on, you'll do fine and you're capable of handling it all. I know you don't want to hear this, but think of the starving kids in africa. You have a good life and plenty of food. Be positive.

well if your stressed out do something to keep your mind of your problems for a while, go somewhere and blow out some steam for a while worry about it later cuz problems will always be there no matter what.
