Generally, when the battery/charge indicator stays lit with the key off, this is caused by a short-circuited diode in the alternator, as for your particular truck, I am not aware of any correlating cause for the tranny indicator to remain lit from this condition, with the exception of a short circuit in the panel itself. Has anyone installed a stereo lately, or performed any work in the dash adjacent to the panel, or has it been removed? Perhaps a "hot" wire is rubbing against the printed circuit.

you are able to not without doing a sprint on-board programming or eliminating some factors. those are sensor monitored from the final of the sprint to the BCM of the truck as are all of the lighting fixtures furnishings. whilst the truck's sensor come upon a easy ingredient that's larger than a predetermined ingredient and there isn't any headlights on request the BCM helps a relay to coach the DRL on. the least confusing thank you to disable this risk-free practices characteristic could be to do away with the bulbs, although this could spark off the indoors diagnostics of the BCM. or you need to do away with the relay from its place interior the fewer than hood fuse panel, yet i think of that this actual relay has quite a few applications. The broking's scanner has the aptitude of programming the BCM to disable that characteristic, yet i can not understand why you're able to opt for to try this. you are able to not even see the lighting fixtures furnishings whilst they are on, yet that's my opinion. stable luck.
