I dont wear much makeup and Ive never used lipliner.what purpose does it serve??

Using a lip liner will help in keeping your lipstick within the lines of your lip, thus minimizing the feathering of colors.
Trace the outline of your lips with the lipliner and apply on your favorite lipstick or gloss.
When you have eaten your lipstick color away with your lunch, there won't be an obvious lipliner smear on your pretty lips as your lipliner color is in your liptone!

I think it is to keep lipstick from "bleeding" around the outside of the lip line. Also to define the lip line. Lipliner is supposed to match the color of the lipstick and should not be drastic. I use my finger to smudge it a little bit.

Lipliner defines your lips, it also could create a nicer or different shape. Lipliner under lipstick makes the color last longer as well.

People usualy use lipliner when they are going out, like a special occasion and are wearing alot of makeup. It makes your lips look fuller.

To define the outlines of your lips and also give lipstick something to stick to so it will last longer. You should line and fill in your lips with a pencil that is the same shade as your natural lip color. Lining inside or outside or using a dark liner is just cheesy.

the purpose of lip liner is to make the line that's around ur lips 2 pop out at people so when u r wearin lip stick they just don't see the lip stick the see the out line around it as well it can also be used to make sure u put it on the right way with put gettin it all over the place iight. well hit me up @ mwaaron4life@yahoo.com if u got any more questions.

well it only serves you if you like it there's no reason in putting lip
liner if you don't wear it that much remember there's no one is pressuring you in putting lip liner.
