i heard a girl say "punk is in style" i was outraged. i wanted to kick that ***** in the teeth. just because back when punk started, the members wanted to distinguish themselves, DOSEN"T MAKE IT A FASHION!!! what do you think?

for example, if you said 'goth' THAT would be fashion.
but saying that punk is fashion,

Saying that goth, or grunge, or PUNK are fashion is completely correct. They are just referring to a certain aesthetic, characteristics that make you differentiate one style from the other. Like in art, like talking of naturalism and pop art.

it don't really bother me its called a "style" as long as they don'y mess with what it origionally was then nothing is wrong... see "emo" turned into a style too (ask me i know it for sure im kinda emo) but it only bugs me when people abuse the meaning of ''emo'' and stuff so i would get mad if they abused the meaning of "punk" too... i wouldn't call emo or punk a "style" actually so when did they become styles? oh well i don't care....

dude i totally agree, i am so ready for all these little teenie bopper girls to find another "fashion" and leave us alone. it seems like everywhere i turn POSERS are trying to prove something. and then you have all these poppy bands trying to be punk making it harder for us to rid the world of them. im so glad someone else agrees with me
