She made the appearance... so it was her call.
I do think she has a lot going on personally... and when you're in that much pain, you do some crazy things. In hindsight she'll probably find it wasn't a great thing to have done (gone public).

Since the media has been discussing her family's personal business for days on end now, I think she was trying to set the record straight. That is definitely a drawback to fame, having every bit of your personal business in front of the whole world. I think she is a great parent, and made the best decision for the good of her children at this confusing and unsetting time. She definitely seemed upset and shocked and was just running on pain and adrenaline. This is a very painful time, and we can only wish her well for the sake of her and her children.

Am waiting for see it on the west coast in about l5 minutes....I realize that some people do not like Sara Evans, a lot of negative has been said on this site alone...but she is a great Mother who unfortunately has found herself in a very sad place....whatever she decides to do insofar as the disclosure of her personal life is and should be entirely up to her....

The only reason S. E. had to do that was to explain to her fans her departure from DWTS. Even if she wouldn't have been on a tv show The News media would have aired it!!!

what the heck even happened... why did she suddenly have to divorce her husband?
and NO, i thought it was a little weird that they had her on to make a statement about divorcing her husband when it just happened last thurs???!!! give her a minute huh!? but i thought it was even weirder that she didn't need to take a minute... she just jumps right on t.v. and make a statement....

Why not? We as the fans deserved to hear her side of the story since we were cheated out of the extra week to vote her off. Anyway when your a celeb you don't get to keep things like that to yourself and it's better when you get it from the horses mouth!

It is her laundry and she has to do what she can to stop the rumors. this should end them a bit. They are only filling time.
