my do i had three goldfish one died and forgot to get it out i notice that my other gold fish ate him it was sad too.

Grown goldfish.. commonly no. Goldfish fry.. sure actual. A goldfish will eat something that it will probable slot in its mouth. purchase a fullyyt grown goldfish like those you spot interior the fish keep will not eat yet another same goldfish. i've got a three inch black moor with a a million/2 inch fantail dwelling thankfully in my 200 gallon aquarium and that i dont see any of them ingesting each distinctive.. Which not often happens in goldfish reason goldfish are non violent and gentle animals. besides the reality that repeatedly they could bully sick goldfishes although now not eat them nevertheless.

Yes they are cannibalistic like that, if you leave a dead fish in the tank the others will always eat it till its gone, its just an extra food source for them but eww its so gross.

yes they do. I had 5 in a tank once and I went on vacation. When I came back I only had one left. My neighbor was feeding them while I was away.

yea, circle of life i guess. maybe it's good for them. if chickens starve they will eat one another, and if they lack vitamins they will eat their eggs. i feed my chickens egg shells and chicken, and i let my daughters goldfish eat the dead ones. sometimes the fish will also kill a sick goldfish, then eat him. sad, huh? i know.....
