like when you turned 16. did you have a Sweet Sixteen party (like that show they have on mtv!) but like what did you do like did you have a party or just nothing? did your parents make it a kinda big deal? like want it to be special? if you had a party please explain if you would like to like what it was like.

16, I wasn't given a party. Taken out to look for a job to afford the P.O.S. car I got.

I did not have anything special, it was no big deal in those days. You just tried to stay out of trouble. I did go down and get my driving license. I am afraid I did not remember many special birthdays, like parties. I probably had something, like a cake, but I just do not remember.

It was 16--it really isn't that big of a deal. A few friends took me out and...that was it. Nothing huge.

Sixteen is really just 16. No matter how you phrase it, it's still 16.

Eighteen is when you really step up in the world. Save your party for the 18--trust me, you'll like it better. Who DOESN'T want tobacco, porn, and lotto?

i didn't have any thing special for my 16th... in fact none of my birthdays were very special. but my daughter is going to have the biggest sweet 16 my husband and I can give her... i have 16 years to save up lmao she's 3 months old

I did not have a party, but my uncles and aunties gave me money to spent thou which to me is a much better option.
