Well, according to people who have had near-death experiences, you see a white light at the end of the tunnel. If you're a religious person you would think this is Heaven you are going toward. If you don't believe in an afterlife then you could just think that this is something that happens to your brain as you expire. A chemical reaction of some sort. After that, who knows? Heaven? Hell? Angels? Nirvana (nothingness)? A long pleasant sleep. I'm a Christian & I believe in Heaven. If you live a good life & you don't hurt anyone, i believe you are rewarded with eternal life in Heaven. I don't know if it has golden gates & angels playing harps but I believe that people I loved that have passed on will be there to greet me. I believe it's a happy and peaceful place. Hell is where evil people go (those who destroy & kill others.) It is a place of eternal suffering. What we do in this life determines our fate in the next life.
Other people believe in reincarnation. You might come back as someone or something else.
You don't know what the afterlife will be until it comes. The point is to live the best life that you can in this world & hope for the best! It can't hurt!
The point of living is to enjoy your life & live it to the fullest. Yes we're all going to die someday but that's the reason to make the most of it while we're here. What's the point of having a rose that blooms & then dies? Because it is so beautiful that it's worth having even if just for a while. Make the most of your life! Experience all the wonderful things that there are. Be happy!
No I don't have Schizophrenia. I'm not an expert but I think it's a disorder characterized by delusions or hallucinations of some sort. They can come & go (not a constant thing). You may hear voices or imagine things that aren't there. You may be paranoid & think that people are against you when they are not. A doctor would have to diagnose a person as schizophrenic & there are medications that you can take to deal with the symptoms.
There is a movie called "A Beautiful Mind" starring Russell Crowe. He plays a brilliant man who was a paranoid schizophrenic. Often very intelligent & sensitive people suffer from schizophrenia. If you think that you or someone you know has it you should talk with a doctor about it & get diagnosed, do some research. It is certainly very common and many people are able to lead happy lives in spite of it.
Life is beautiful. Enjoy it!

Every religion has their own personal beliefs on death. It also has to do with what is your personal thoughts as well. The Egyptians centered their whole life around the death and then going into the after life, Some religions believe that they will turn into an animal. Everyone has their own thoughts on that matter. The choice is up to you and your background.
Schizophrenia is a biological disorder where a person beliefs that they hear voices or have delusions about different things in their surroundings. You can find more information on schizophrenia if you go on-line to these websites.

I am not Schizophrenic. Schizophrenia has a chemical imbalance in the brain. Most notably, a shortage of lithium.
As to the afterlife, I didn't get to see much of it when I died. I got booted at the gate so to speak. It begins as if you had just fallen asleep and then a strange sensation seizes you and you are aware that you are leaving your body. You see everybody including yourself as if from a distance. Then everything goes dark as a small spot of light appears. You feel yourself moving toward it and it grows larger. Just as I was about to step through, I was stopped by three dark figures (silhouettes). I was told to go back it was not my time. I tried to argue, but they wouldn't hear of it and back I came.

I don't see what schizophrenia has to do with dying but ok. I was diagnosed with it once, then when I went to a different doc he said I had something else.
Anyway, nobody knows what happens when you die. What I hope happens is that its very peaceful almost like a deep sleep, except you're awake and you know all the answers to anything you ever wondered about.

The Bible says that when you die you cease to exist. Since humans are mortal there is no thoughts or emotions or knowledge of any type when you are dead. It is like a deep sleep. You are not aware of time passing but it does for the living until the second coming of Jesus Christ at the end of the world. Those that will be saved and live forever with Jesus in heaven and then on the new earth are the ones that are raised to life at the second coming. When they are raised to life it will be awaking from sleep. They will not remember or be aware of any time passing. They will be caught up in the air with Jesus and all the millions of angels and all the righteous living at that time and all those that died from all time. They all will be taken back to heaven and live there for 1000 years. Then everyone comes down to the earth and the wicked are raised to life in the second resurrection. Those that died who will not be saved are raised at this time and try to attack God's city and they are killed in hell fire never more to exist in any form for all eternity. Hell fire burns everything and everyone and goes out. Only ashes remain. For Bible support check out amazingfacts.org.

well that is entirely up to what you believe. you can believe that you will just die and be eaten up by worms. go to heaven or hell (depending on what you did) or you'll be reincarnated. there is no definite answer, since it really depends on the person's religion.
the point of living, to leave this world better than when you found it.
or just sit at home watch tv and do nothing until death comes. up to you

Soon after death, two things...
first, you do not know what happened to you ! Nothing seems to 'move' ... the sense organs are no more available... to come out of this problem, it takes a prior preparation, else it is a question of time and chance !
second, the disposal of your body is somebody else's problem, not like yours, when you were alive !

i believe the point in living is to become more like Christ! You only get one chance at this life, so make the best of it! And schizophrenia is psychological disorder where you have multiple personalities!
hope that helps a little!

If you are saved when you die angel escort you into heaven, Jesus meet you there, there is no more sorrow are crying sickness or disease.
If you choose not to believe, and be saved, and it is your choice.
Then demons meet you and take you to the jaws of hell where you will be swallowed up, brought before Satan and placed in a designated place in hell, in keeping with what you believed and practiced here on earth, if you believed there was no God and lived in continual sin, then You will live in evil, in Hell, torment, and you will be constantely reminded of each time you rejected God. You will be tormented to entertain the devil. It is a place of darkness.

As a Christian - the bible is clear - two places in which one goes upon death. Heaven or Hell. Heaven can only be gained through Jesus Christ - and its more than we can even desire or dare believe. Hell on the other hand is for those who do not believe of Christs salvation and exsist for these....as the bible says, there will be pain and gnashing of teeth forever more. The choice is made in this life....this is the point.
