I can see that she's a self-centered person. I'm sure you can see that as well. She needs to realize what kind of person she is. And I'm afraid you need to be the person to let her know what kind of person she really is.
Talk to her, tell her how you feel. Does she even care about you? Because I don't see her showing it at all. Especially, in a serious situation like this. If she was really a "friend", she would be there in the hospital with you. If not, at least be talking to you and trying her best to help you.
After a situation like this, I wouldn't talk to her again because I know that I deserve someone who will care for me and be there for me, someone who I can truly call a "friend".

I have a friend who talks over me all the time too. When I'm by a person who is her friend and we're talking, my friend pushes me out of the way and starts talking to that person. It's kinda different from your's but it's similar in feelings.
My advice to you (and maybe I ought to take my own advice too), lose that friend. She's rude and doesn't care about anybody but herself. She's selfish and isn't treating you good at all. You're probably not the only who is fed up with her either.
Find a great group of friends or a friend who will allow you to speak your mind and will care for you. Good luck.

ok, thats a serious thing, How can a REAL friend just act like nothing happened when your being hospitilized, just got raped, and probably end up with post-traumatic stress disorder? You should either calmly tell her thats not right or just dont be her friend. Find someone better, because you probably deserve better.

Hey,
If she is doing that to you, you need to tell her! If she doesn't care if you are hurt, what kind of friend is that! Do you think she is really YOUR friend, do you still care about HER? I hope you can leave her behind and make sure you find friends that are helpful, not ignoring you! I feel your pain! Best of luck!

...either she is not your friend or its something about you that turns her off. Are you real dramatic or drama filled. Either way if you all can't learn how to be real friends then you should go your separate ways before someone is hurt.
