hi, i have a keyocera se47 other wise known as the slider v5 and i dropped it and there is a huge crack in the faceplate. i was going to replace the face plate but then i noticed that there are little blue dots on the screen that interfere with the graphics. would that be fixed if i replaced the face plate?

It sounds like there is a problem with your LCD and not the 'screen'. What you would be replacing is just plastic, and you'd need to replace the entire LCD screen.

no. your LCD screen is probably broken. that gappened to my unlocked sLvr...the repair for it is a bit costly... maybe around the $100 area...i just said forget it and bought a new phone..but it just depends on you and what you want.
