Hey, Well what I do is: I go to start -> connect to -> show all connections, Then left click on you'r running internet connection press status -> general and there you go. Or you can just left click on you'r running internet icon if it shows that is and do the same.

You can see the capacity of the modem and connection from the icon showing in the task bar. When you are loading something it depends on so many things.when you are downloading that downloading software shows it.
You an get all reputed antivirus and antiSpyware
software....can purchase or for free... visit.....
