i have liked this guy for over a year and my "best friend" has known this for only a little bit...since she's known this she'd done everything to try and get him to go out with her or something... she's flirting with him nonstop and telling him things about that aren't true...i don't know whether to kick her a** or break down crying...what the hell is wrong with her?

she doesnt want you to be happy.
she wants you to be with no one so she can have you to herself the whole time.
she dont want you to be h.a.p.p.y
confront her about it.
tell her how you feel.

just let her now how it is.

that you dont like it.

that if she was your friend she wouldnt be doing that.

if she acts like a biotch when you talk to her.
then leave her allow.
she obviously wasnt your true friend.
you can make better ones.
but
talk to the guy.
dont back away from him.
tell him you like him
and
that you want to do something.
like make a date for you that you can do something as soon as possible and ask if he wants to do something that day.
let him know you like him.

dont back away.

Girlfriends are just like that. If you have liked him so long you should have told him ages ago though. If you don't tell someone you like them they will never know and you might miss out on the romance of your life. She is jealous of him. I know it is stupid but some girls get very possessive of their friends and do anything to keep them to theirselves. Also she must be insecure about herself and thinks she will look better than you if she has what you want. Don't be her friend anymore. My situation like this ended with my best friend pregnant by my boyfriend and he DIED. He was only 19 and she was the reason he killed himself. He got drunk and wrecked his truck into a tree head on, because she was on drugs while pregnant with his baby. The baby is 11 now and I am raising her. Friends like that are not worth having. Go get your guy and kick your friend to the curb before it is too late for both of you.

First of all she aint a good friend if she knows that you like him and tries 2 get with him I think she is jealous of you She is not best friend material doing things like that it's time to give her a 1 on 1 time with your fist and her face.

What's wrong with her? Everything's wrong with her!! Your so called "best friend" is obviously not your best friend! She must think that if she gets him to like her then you'd be jealous, but don't fall for her stupid tricks because you know better then that! You shouldn't hang out with this girl anymore because she has ALOT of serious problems!

Seems to me that this so called "friend" isnt really your friend. Its strange, but most times people want what you want, when you express your wants. If you know what I mean. Next time just be careful with whom you share your feelings with. I say if the guy is interested in your friend, then to bad for him. You can do alot better.

This really, really is not a friend - let alone a 'best friend' - best friends never do things like that.

Well, first of all, she's not your friend. She is a hanger-onner who thinks she has to compete with you. If you cry, don't do it in front of either of them. But, why waste your time crying drop her. If the guy likes you, he'll come your way. If not, drop him too.

I HAD A friend like that- she had an affair w my ex- she is jealous and not a friend- and very deep issues- you don't need a friend like that- or at least know she can't b e trusted- D

I know you like this guy but I think at this point you should steer clear of both of them.
