just to clear some things up, Texas has it's own pledge seperate from the United States pledge.

Yes, I do. I grew up in a small midwest town and said it every single day for years. We sang the state song, but never a state pledge. I live in Texas and my daughter's preschool teaches the Pledge of Allegiance, but not a Texas one.

I know the original pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, I also know the new or second version of pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. I also know what each phrase of the pledge means.
I have heard the pledge of allegiance to the state flag of Texas but I never learned it.

I know the pledge, but I'm not sure if there is a pledge for every state. California kids dont recite the pledge for California, if there is one.

yep i know the pledge of allegiance and i think tx is the only state that has a pledge or at least thhe only state to force the kids to say it every morneing at school
