Im doing a report on peoples thoughts on what need to be improved in the United states and i would like some answers,lol

education and work ethic. in the past people didn't expect the government to pay for everything and give them hand outs. people worked hard for what they had. if a big storm hit, you saw people out their filling sand bags and helping neighbors, now people just sit out the days till it hits and get mad when they didn't get help. our country has turned into a bunch of lazy, bitchy, cry babies who have no morals, and work ethic at all. if they can get by with doing less work then they will do it. if they think it doesn't diretly affect them they they will not help. we have gone soft. everything this great country of poor hard working people has gone down the toliet and will continue to until people grow up and get their asses in gear. unemployment is up, not because there are no jobs, but becasue people are too lazy to get up and go fill out the stupid application.

Education needs the biggest makeover in this country. There needs to be better pay for teachers. Many great, intelligent, and caring people choose other careers, besides teaching, solely because of the pay. We are falling further and further behind the rest of the industrialized world in almost ever academic category; especially science and math. If this country's schools continue to spew forth the same drooling idiots it has for the last thirty years, terrorism is the least of our concerns. If nothing is done soon, we will definitely implode on ourselves!

All lobbyist should be put into jail. This is the most important reason
our overnment has ceased to work for the people who the country
is for. Not the corporations run by a few men with inordinate amount
of influence through money, bribes,sex, and coersion.

And officer Friendly can steal drugs out of the evidence locker and nobody gives a rats azzzzzz.

So Corruption is a Major concern in Politics,
be it on the local level or the national level.
And until people start caring enough to start raising some hell, nothing will be done.
One person cannot do it all.

Let's start with our national attitude. Change it. Don't vote for adolescent acting cowboys who say, 'bring it on' then send young men off to die. Take all the toupees off the representatives and congressmen so they can make a start at honesty. Get yourself informed about the candidates. Don't accept slogans for the truth. Put someone in office who knows something, who has international experience and common sense.

Accountability. People need to start owning the decisions they make. Dr. Spock taught everyone that they can blame all their failures and screw-ups on others. We need to get out of that mode.
