I know that butter is much better for the finish than wax but I am not sure how often I need to apply it to get maximum protection.

I've buttered my corn, I've buttered my toast, and once I even buttered my steak, but I have never buttered my car...

I have never heard of putting butter on a car, maybe on toast, but not a car. Just use some quality wax and leave the butter in the kitchen

Try Crisco,it takes less time to spread!You know there is sucha thing as liquid wax,as opposed to using weird stuff like butter!
