I want to watch movies without it stopping every 5 seconds.

I think there are two different speeds of DSL. But one is more costly than the other.. My suggestion is to contact your ISP and discuss it with them. :)

DSL is just slow. Web accelerators only help web surfing by cacheing webpage information. When you are watching a movie it is streaming. Which means a constant flow of data. Make sure there are no other applications using your internet connection at the same time and that might help. Only other option is to choose a lower quailtiy and/or upgrade your internet service.

don't bother with web accelerators, they aren't that useful. Your best bet is to use a good browser (Firefox or Opera) and a good ad blocker. AdBlock Plus for Firefox is great.

Just get more bandwidth, or a better video card. "Web accelerators" are actually bogus programs that install spyware or worse on your system, so avoid them.

Haven't seen any accelerators that helped with that.
My suspicion is that something is slowing your computer.
Boot with most normal background programs disabled and then try it.
