Having done all the necessary and got password verification the website I want tells me that " If you use a spam filter, please add this address to the "whitelist" (or list of "approved senders") to ensure that you will receive these services."

It doesn't seem to make any difference if I lower all my barriers or add their web site to approved sites etc.

I am using Windows XP - can anyone give me more explicit details.

Why don't you just e-mail their tech support staff? They should have something like that.

For that site only, try enabling all cookies to see if your cookie restriction setting is too high.
Did that site download an activeX control for your browser? Perhaps your firewall is blocking it. To see what activeX controls are being used by your browser, click on the Tools menu and select Internet Options. Click the Programs tab and click the Manage Add Ons button. See if any of the names listed there are related to that site. If something is there, then make sure the control in enabled. Check your firewall rules to see if it is blocking off anything for that control.

If nothing recognisable is there, then I guess you should contact the site for help.
