The Sabres make me wanna shout, just stand up and wanna shout!!! GO SABRES !!!

Ahhhh.....gotta love it. Respect? The Sabres don't need respect. That's what they want. This team doesn't revolve around Ryan Miller, it is a team. They have 4 lines that can put the puck in. What does Philly have the Forsberg line? I mean c'mon, when the Sabres make a line change, you can't tell who is on the ice because they are all well balanced. When you watch other teams out there, you know when there #1 scoring line is on the ice because it is the only one producing. Buffalo has 4 lines producing. So what if Miller let in 124 goals last year being that he was a rookie. This is a team, one that a lot of NHL owners are gonna use as a model in the coming years.

Go Sabres!!

Wow... Seems like nobody gives the Sabres the respect that they deserve...

After a 7-4 shellacking of the Rangers, the Sabres come right back into a city with plenty of animosity and rivalry, and completely bomb the woeful Flyers back into the Stone Age, and nobody on this forum is complimenting them??

Man, I dislike the "slugs" as much as anybody, but man, ARE THEY EVER PLAYING HOCKEY!! Holy ****! Briere can score whenever he wants, Drury gets like 12 points every single game, Afinagenov, Mr. Scores-another-goal-again-ov, is vastly superiour on a variety levels to any other given player at any given time...

The list goes on... Man, these guys are playing some serious hockey.

Miller looks solid. Kept his team in the game the first period, before Buffalo tore a new *** hole into the Flyers. Stopped a penalty shot. Goaltending isn't a problem here.

No no no. Don't listen to either the critics OR the armchair gms on this forum. You have a great team this year, and I think that you are a serious threat of the Cup. Good luck, I hope the city enjoys it!!

I think the Sabres have an awesome assembly of individual players. Whether or not the skaters can assemble as a team and make big wins all the way to and through the playoffs is another thing.

The big issue that could stand in their way is goaltending. Can Ryan Miller play like a star or like the who let in 124 goals in 48 games last year?
He had a shutout in there as well, I'll give him that, but can he keep his GAA down in the lower 2's? Can he steal 10 wins this season for the Sabres? Can he perform in the playoffs?

We'll see....

Hey! I hope the Sabres don't get respected.......All the way to the Stanley Cup. If it weren't for the Sabres defense getting decimated by injuries during last years playoffs, Carolina's Cup would have been the Sabre's cup.

Another playoff CHOKE.
Very typical of the Sabres.
Maybe they''' get lucky and meet the Senators in the finals then we'll take bets to see who chokes the most.

I think it is great for the City of Buffalo... As bad as the Bills looked Sunday, the town needs a morale boost!

Go Sabres! Bills too...

Sabres are for real, but why do they use the British spelling (Sabres) rather than the traditional Sabers spelling?

I'm still a non-believer but I will say that of any team in the NHL, yours has re-made itself the best in response to the rule and officiating changes.

They need to prove they're just as dominating in the playoffs as they are in the regular season in games it's clicking on all 8 cylinders. They're making strides towards it but still have to show some more, in my book.
