The movie I am looking for i saw a long time ago on sci-fi it had wierd dark monsters on it and it looked like it was after the war had ended. There was a man who used a katana for his weapon and he had a woman fallowing him around. Plz if you have any ideas of what this could be or if u know ones like it tell me.

it wasnt inuyasha it was alot darker and more.. well darker the demons were very creative but also very... evil it was the kind of anime that gave you chills.

it wasnt twilight although it did have alot of monsters in it. The monsters were really wierd and it wasnt Vampire D i watched that befor and that wasn't it. It had more of a serious atmosphere and like i said before was extremely dark.

It might have been Inuyasha if the dude had white hair, cause theres a lot of demons in it and a chick follows Inu around all the time.

Possibly "Twilight of the Dark Master"
Or more likely one of the "Vampire Hunter D" movies, possibly the the first one, it is very old; set after an apocalyptic war and D has a girl following him...
.......if it is not, The Vampire Hunter D movies are well worth watching anyway, and Twilight is OK, but bloody and monster filled.

It sounds a little like Demon City Shinjoku (not sure of the spelling on the last name).
But it could just aswell be Vampire Hunter D, Poltergeist Report, Ninja Scroll, Ronin Warriors, or any number of other sword & sorcery anime.

Light Yagami is the top high school student of Japan who has until recently led a boring and uneventful life. That changed very quickly when he found a mysterious notebook with the title "Death Note" on it, lying on the ground one day in the year 2003.
